My e-filing was "Rejected." What's the next step?

A filing is typically rejected when the company name or EIN on the summary form (Form 1094-C, Form 1096, Form W-3) does not match IRS records.

When this happens it's important to review the information submitted against your records. Then, make any necessary changes to the form.

When you are finished making corrections, you can click 'E-File' at the top of your filing to resubmit your forms to the IRS.
